Bok 2008

A 2008 collection of research and articles on the Diversity Icebreaker edited by Bjørn Z. Ekelund and Eva Langvik.

Bok 2008

The book combines separate papers that have been presented at different conferences as well as elsewhere unpublished empirical data.

Part One presents the tool, outlines the seminar format, and explains the three categories at its core. It also provides normative data and scientific documentation, with emphasis on descriptive statistics.

Part Two brings together contributions from several authors who connect the Diversity Icebreaker to established personality frameworks (Big Five, MBTI), leadership evaluation, and cross-cultural training. Other chapters discuss its role in team dynamics, the added value of diversity in organizations, and new perspectives on marketing and brand personality.

Together, these chapters highlight both the scientific foundation and the wide-ranging applications of the Diversity Icebreaker. While much research has been conducted on the instrument since the book’s publication in 2008, this book remains a historical reference—offering insights that gain new relevance when read alongside the extensive body of work developed in the years that followed.

2nd. edition., 179 pages.
